A group of international experimental researchers invites you into this open laboratory to rethink your identity by triggering your fascia (lat. for connective tissue). Their interest is to find narratives through bodies: your own body, other individual bodies and through a group of bodies that have seemingly homogenous appearances. These narratives are told through textile surfaces - costumes which are a technology to modify the body. The costumes are characters, they heal, dance, beautify or disfigure, make someone laugh or feel embarrassed.
During your visit you can walk around some of the research departments to get skin observation, talk to other human creatures, transform your organs, improve your body and mirror your new appearance. The new identity will transfigure you into a new human creature. In the laboratory the researchers believe that human creatures that feel sexy, honest and experimental are happier and more tolerant creatures.
Fasciarium is a performative, visual and auditory landscape of the human body´s internal and external anatomy, a field that is attractive in a visual, spiritual and kinky way.
